The story behind the song: I Did Not Know
Pastor Rich has a bible study recap class on Wednesday nights. This Wednesday, Brenda brought about about helping people we see on the street. Polly reminded us not to judge.
The phrase “Don’t judge, you don’t know” is a common expression that emphasizes the importance of empathy and understanding before forming opinions about others. It suggests that without knowing someone’s full story, experiences, or the context of their actions, it’s unfair and potentially inaccurate to make judgments. This idea is also reflected in religious teachings, like the Sermon on the Mount, which discourages judging others and instead encourages self-reflection and compassion
I hope this song will help others to look at their live to be sure it lines up with what the Lord is asking each of us to do/or not to do..
God expects our actions to line up with His word. I had to go home and write the song that night.

Matthew 7:1-2
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use,
it will be measured to you.
Colossians 3:12-13
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Galatians 6:2:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
