This is a day to day story of my journey to see my birth Mother after 53 years. She will be 80 years young on June 6th, 2023. She is in WAY better health than most folks I know. I planned other things along the way.. just in case I don’t have another chance to travel due to health. some of the stops included…. Going to church with Mrs. Girard a life long friend Enjoying a Fish Fry Dinner next to the house we lived in on Crescent Vischer Ferry Road Honoring my Dad at the Saratoga County History Center Seeing Aunt Barbara Going to the Guitar Centers Parkway Music and John Keal Music Going to see Aunt Cathy and Uncle Jim Going to Longwood Gardens in Honor of Aunt Ethel Going to see Pam and Ed Going to Meadowlark Gardens Each day was an adventure. Keep in mind I had a stroke then brain surgery a week before I got on the plane. So my health well was not the best, but I knew God would help me, if it was His plan for me to go. I was shaking and stuttering not really the way you want to meet your family after 53 years of waiting, but on I went. I was determined to make the best of it. Its better than not getting to go. Right? So I hope you enjoy my little short novel on my journey. I am SO blessed that the Lord allowed me this time. Thank you Lord.
