Day 9 Canyon De Chelly

The Canyon is located in Chinle Arizona, it is a National Monument. We had a good time and were disappointed that the tours were so expensive and trash littered the highway all around the streets surrounding the park. Every Pullover had local Indian Artists and Crafters selling there good that were not necessarily hand made as they said. The Canyon is very lovely and we toured the upper rims on both the North side and South.As we were traveling and Cheryl was napping in the back I witnessed by first wind storm that looked like a tornado. We then drove to the Hubbell Trading Post and Cheryl got our book stamped and we walked around and look at lots of old equipment at the post. Heading West we ran into more rain. It seems everyday we are getting a free car wash.
