Day 36 Traveling in West Virginia to Harpers Ferry

Last night we stayed at a cute motel in Romney, WV called the Koolwink Motel. the owners have been there since the 50′s Our room was huge and the furniture was all 60′s original furniture. It was up on a hill and off the road. Peace and Quiet finally. Did you know that West Virginia is all mountains? I think they don’t believe in straight roads because we didn’t find any. It was a beautiful ride through the state.
We arrived at Harpers Ferry in the am and toured the area but did not find much to photograph. had a brief scare as one of my lenses fell out of my vest ( 16-35 not cheap) .It was turned into the visitors center so I was able to breath again.
We left Harpers Ferry and headed for Great Falls to spend the weekend with my brother and his wife. We are looking forward to spending some time with them. We are also going to meet by Nephews son this weekend so that will be great fun too. Not a lot of good photos but still a good day.
