Day 28 on the road in Montana

We left our hotel and headed east with from Dillon. We stopped in a small town where the tires were for a few shots The Wheels you see are very tall, the fence is a 6 ft fence so they are very big. The tires are also huge as the door on the left is a 5 ft door. It was another grey day today with fires in the distance. The shot of the forest on fire has been burning for 3 weeks.
Cheryl and I went to a gem mine this morning outside Yellowstone and mined for Sapphires. Cheryl and I found 6kt of sapphires, we had fun again this morning mining for gems. After the mine we headed for South Dakota to go to Mt Rushmore in the am. Hopefully we will have better weather tomorrow.
Enjoying the Journey is all part of the fun. Photography is not great but the views are worth the drive since we are used to flat country in Florida.
