Day 27 Finding the opal and traveling through the state

Today we drove out of West Yellowstone to go to Spencer Idaho and on the way stopped at Virginia City and Nevada City in Montana. Got a few good photos along the way but the smoke is getting stronger so we may need to start heading east in the am. We went to Spencer’s Opal Farm and did some digging for stones today and we will come home with a few gems. Cheryl wanted to give it a try so we had some fun together digging through a rock pile. We are spending the night at a Motel 6 in Dillon Montana and the young lady at Check-in was very nice. It will be an early night again. We will see you next time

Day 27 Staying at a Motel Six

After a long day of looking for opals, driving, and seeing the country side we stopped at a Motel 6 in Dillon, Montana and the young lady at the counter, Abbey, was there with a smile and a warm greeting. If ever are going on us hwy 15 and pass Dillon stop at the Motel 6.
Abbey is going to college at Northwestern to become an elementary teacher, we wish her all the success and a great future as a teacher. The world needs more people like you becoming a teacher.
