Day 16 Zion National Park

Got up before sunrise again today and headed for Zion and stopped at the visitors center to ride the shuttle bus to the upper canyon. We went to the furthest point and went for a 2 mile hike round trip and stopped at the Narrows but decided not go up the narrows because it was more than knee deep and lots of people were going up the trail which would not give any good shots. We stopped at all the bus stops and took wonderful photos many areas look better in person than could be conveyed by a photo.
After the bus tour we went to several rock shops and found some awesome stone cabochons for upcoming projects.
We headed back East through the canyon and took photos as we left Zion on our way to Bryce Canyon.
We found a nice hotel in Hatch Utah that had a nice diner it is called the Mountain Harvest.
In the restaurant there was a very large deer on the wall and the chef said it was a 1200 pound deer shot by a 12 year old girl in town ( Sorry Uncle Jim) using a bow and arrow. We are looking forward to tomorrow as we go to Bryce Canyon.
