Day 13 in Kanab Utah

We got up at the right time for Utah and headed for the BLM office again for our second opportunity for the drawing to go to the wave. They only give out 10 permits a day and our number in the draw was 7 and they drew us first. So on Thursday we are going to the wave which is a unique geological area only found in one place in the world. After making arrangements for the long hike we spent the afternoon viewing Johnson Canyon Road and taking photos of the old Gun Smoke TV show set and all the cool geological stuff in the area. A bit of rain today but we still had fun and we went to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes in the rain to see it and we might go back another day. Time to rest before our big hike in the am. 5 am is coming real soon.

Day 13 in Kanab Utah

At the BLM office we met with Jennifer, Terri and Ranger Ron Kay. They were very friendly and showed us some cool places to explore. We went back to say thanks and Jennifer who went home sick.
We hope you feel better soon. We had an awesome day because of your help.
