The young lady that greeted us at the museum was a wonderful lady full of stories. Her name is Feral and she is turning 96 in October. Feral has been in Cotton Farming for her entire life and has worked the the Park since it opened in 1978. We several other nice ladies that work in the park too and all had wonderful stories to tell and it was a great history lesson too.
We wish Feral a happy birthday and we look forward to visiting her at the park on her 100th birthday.

Day 49 Tifton Georgia and into Florida
Posted on September 29, 2012 by JS-Blogging
Today we went to the the Georgia Agriculture Museum ( Agrirama) in Tifton. The Park was a great place where they have moved old building and old farm equipment to more that 30 years ago. It is very similar to heritage Village in Largo Florida. We spent about 5 hours taking photos and learning all kinds of interesting facts. After the park we headed south and tried to do some rock hounding but could not find the locations we were looking for so we headed South to Florida to begin the end of our journey. We stopped the night just South of Jacksonville Florida. We took a lot of great photos today
