Day 45 Calvary Chapel in Travelers Rest South Carolina

Today we found another Calvary Chapel on our journey and went to church. It turns out that the Pastor’s son is one of the worship leaders at the Church we went to last week .in the DC metro area. Pastor Greg had a encouraging message on faith from Judges and Hebrews. His wife Kathy led the worship time. At the service it was mentioned that they were having a picnic Sunday night at a park near by and we were invited to attend. It was an awesome day capped off by Kathy inviting us to their house after the picnic where Cheryl and Kathy played some guitar and I had a wonderful chat with the pastor. They are a growing church and I can see the Lord’s hand in the growth of the church. The next time we come to visit Robin we are sure the congregation will be much larger.

In between the service and the picnic Cheryl’s sister Robin picked us up and we went to see a few waterfalls and some of the parks in the area we also got a chance to see Robin’s campsite.
