Calvary Chapel Sioux Falls SD Day 31
Posted on September 10, 2012 by JS-Blogging
We spent the morning at Calvary Chapel in Sioux Falls and had time to talk with the pastor after the service. The church is much bigger than the other churches so far on our journey and they are still growing. It is great to see how the Lord is working with so many people throughout our journey. Pastor Tom had a great message today and we met some wonderful people after the service.
Day 31 Travel day from South Dakota, Minnesota to Iowa

Not much photography today. More driving than photos.
We started the day at the Corn Palace in Mitchell South Dakota. It is an arena for sports and concerts and the corn murals are changes every year. It was hard to imagine that all the murals inside and out are made of corn. After the palace we went to Sioux Falls SD. to go to Calvary Chapel. It was another good service and a time to thank the Lord for all our blessing on our journey.
After Church we drove to Pipestone National Monument to see where the Native Americans would use red stone to carve pipes and other tools plus make building blocks. This type of rock is only found in the area of Minnesota. It was then time to start driving South so we started heading toward Iowa where we are spending the night after dinner at Penny’s Diner.
Not much photography today but lots of fun except the dead skunks on the roadside, stinky.

We met Troy at the Corn Palace Sunday morning and he thought our Trailer was pretty cool. Troy has been working at the palace for 27 years and enjoys his job. listening to him talk about the palace it is no wonder he loves being a guide.
when we left the palace there was a van passing by that also liked the trailer and as he went by I noticed his trailer was the back half of a Cadilac. His trailer was cooler than ours. It was time to be jealous of another trailer.
