Day 25 Yellowstone National Park
Posted on September 4, 2012 by JS-Blogging
We once again got up real early and headed for the park, this time we took the south Loop and started at Old Faithful, we hiked up a mountain for a good view not knowing how high, so it was tough on Cheryl about 1.5 miles round trip. got a few good shots but no great ones. We turned to the south road again and stopped at all the turnouts to get the whole picture of Yellowstone, the weather was improving so it was a good day. getting close to one of the meadows we found ourselves in a traffic jam with 50 bison and 100 cars, I could have stuck my hand out the window and touched the bison, very cool.
We had to stop at a Sinclair gas station to get a nail pulled out of the tire and met Jim and we were lucky enough to not need a tire repair as it was very short, Phew. We stopped at the Yellowstone Canyon Lodge for dinner and had a wonderful anniversary dinner in Yellowstone. Got back to the hotel at 9:30 and we were very tired. Another Awesome Day
