Day 14 The people we surfed with today

Our Journey today took us to the Wave with our new friends. Megan helped to orchestrate everything for our journey to the wave, Our travel guide was Kurt with his 4wd Truck from Dreamland Tours, Our fellow lottery winners were Dennis, Viola and Leona. We had an awesome time with our new friends today and we hope you all enjoy your continued vacation and travel safely

Day 14 Our 10th Anniversary

Our journey started today at 6 am when we left for the North Coyote Buttes -Wave, near the Utah Border. We met with our new friends just off the highway and continued with a 4wd to the starting point of our 7.5 +mile hike to one of the top 10 Landscape destinations in the world. It was a grueling walk through sand, washes, over rocks (big,small, smooth, rough,sharp) and everything you can think of. we went up and down steep hill valleys and steep inclines. It was hot and dry until the storms started to approach, then after some time to photograph the rock formations we headed back for a long hike all over again. It was brutal. The Lord protected us from the storms so we never got wet, Amen.
Our feet are sore and it is only 8:30 and we are going to bed. It was a awesome experience we will never forget. What a fantastic way to celebrate our anniversary. Love to all and thanks for joining us on our journey through the National Parks.
